Where terroir shapes the character of wine
Great wine is born in the vineyard.
Winery Khareba owns 1,500 hectares of vineyards in four outstanding wine regions of Georgia — Kakheti, Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Samegrelo. Each of them, with its own climate, soil and microclimate, gives the wine a unique identity and character.
The special pride of our vineyards is the collection plot, where more than 300 endemic Georgian grape varieties are preserved. This living heritage is not only part of the history of Georgian winemaking, but also an important mission to preserve the genetic diversity of the vine for future generations.
Alongside native Georgian varieties we also grow international ones, which allows us to create a diverse portfolio that authentically expresses the Georgian terroir. Today more than 70 wines are born from our vineyards — each a unique expression of its origin, place and season.
