Wineries
Where tradition becomes perfection
Every winery of Winery Khareba is created for one purpose — to reveal the best qualities of Georgian grapes and terroir.
The harvest begins in the vineyard, where every plot is assessed individually. Grapes arriving at the winery undergo an additional strict quality selection, after which a precise and thoughtful winemaking process begins. Here the centuries-old qvevri tradition naturally coexists with modern European technology, precise control and the experience of our winemakers.
The Terjola, Vachnadziani and Kvareli wineries create wines that keep the authentic character of their origin and fully meet the highest international quality standards.

Terjola Winery
Innovation in the service of tradition
The Terjola winery combines the precision of Italian production technology and modern stainless steel tanks with the ancient principles of Georgian winemaking. Wine is made here in three ways — by the classic method, in qvevri, and aged in new French oak barrels — each focused on one goal: for the wine to fully express its terroir and the character of the variety.
Vachnadziani Winery
From the 17th century to today
The history of the Vachnadziani winery spans three centuries. Destroyed many times and restored again in 1877, today this place embodies the essence of our philosophy — respect for the past combined with modern approaches.
Grapes grown in eastern Georgia undergo their first processing here before moving to the Kvareli Wine Tunnel for ageing — where nature itself creates an ideal, stable temperature of 12–14°C at any time of the year.
Kvareli Winery
Kvareli Wine Tunnel
On the edge of the Alazani Valley, carved into the rocky massif of the Caucasus, stands one of the most impressive wine cellars in the world — the Kvareli Wine Tunnel. Opened in 1962 especially for the World Congress of Vine and Wine, the tunnel still serves its original purpose: to create a perfect environment for wine.
Two main and thirteen connecting tunnels form a total of 7.7 kilometres, where the temperature naturally stays between 12 and 16°C in every season — ideal conditions for ageing wine. Here, in steel and oak vessels, our wines are cared for and aged, while the bottled collection — almost 26,000 bottles, the oldest of them aged 17 years — is one of the richest wine collections in Georgia.
This is not only a place for ageing wine but also a place to experience — where guests touch the soul of Georgian winemaking directly, deep inside the rock.
